27. After collecting 2X amount Mrs BAYKAL wants more

The Turkish Red Crescent Director, Mrs Mehtap BAYKAL demands $5,000 for travel allowance. A person staying in Canada requires 1,230 CAD per month. So, for three months, it is approximately $3,690.

In the case of refugee Falmaali, she will be staying in our family home. We will bear her accommodation and all other expenses. I also had a $5,000 cheque from a Canadian bank written for Falmaali to present to the Canadian embassy.

But Mrs BAYKAL has no interest in that cheque. Because she can’t cash that cheque. She wants $5,000 to register for a visa. By this time, I realised the Turkish Red Crescent Director was a scammer – there is no such thing as a visa registration fee of $5,000. Yes, there are visa fees.

The United States has the highest tourist visa cost in the world, at an average of $127. Visitor or Super visa for single or multiple entries to Canada is $100. So what is that $5,000 visa registration fee?

Fact check: As of August 31, Falmaali has no Turkish resident permit. You can’t apply for a visa without it.
On August 15, 23, the Canadian embassy in Ankara verified that there was no visa application for Falmaali.

One could wonder how a respectable organisation like the Turkish Red Crescent does not notice someone visibly engaging in fraud?
